The N-Word President

I knew Obama wouldn’t be able to get through two full terms without somehow demeaning the Presidency as his Democrat predecessor, Bill Clinton did.

Of course, we all remember Clinton molesting a young woman in the White House just off the Oval Office. Former Democrat President from the 70’s, Jimmy Carter, although aggressively incompetent to the level of obesity, didn’t raise the ‘ick’ factor of the POTUS like President Clinton did. And although our current President has raised the incompetency factor, he has managed to keep the class of the honored office out of the gutter.

Until now.

Obama’s casual use of the N-word in a podcast, a podcast affectionately known as “WTF”, i.e., What The F#&!, was just too tempting for him, I suppose. After all, he is a Democrat, and Democrats seem to have a downright maniacal attachment to all things filthy.

Now, I’m not trying to be holier than thou, here. I have my affectionate feelings for certain shades of decadence, as do all of us, Republican, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, or any person reaching adulthood. We’re all tainted with sin, stained with the blotches of iniquity. It’s just that most of us don’t choose to revel in them in The People’s House with 20 year old interns or spew degrading racist language over the airwaves with aplomb.

I’ve had friends – all of them Democrats – who use the N-word as a casual identifying term for black people. And it bothered me. Because, among other questions, one that came to mind was, Why would you use such a demeaning word for a whole people, the vast majority of whom you’ve never even met? Might it be that some of those people to whom you insultingly refer are honest, kind, and otherwise respectable citizens?

When one uses such a word, they paint all of my darker-skinned brethren (I say brethren because as a Christian my black fellow believers are my brothers) with one broad and grungy brush.

But here’s the difference, and the intent of this article.

If some of my Democrat friends want to sully themselves with such vile words, then they have the right to. My plumber friends, my carpenter friends, or my softball team friends, they all represent their private and personal circle of existence. They don’t represent me, they’re not an authorized ambassador for me, they are not my official spokesperson.

They can do what they want.

However, Barack Obama is my President. He can’t do what he wants. When he speaks, he doesn’t just speak for himself, he speaks for America. And being an American, when The President of the United States speaks, he speaks for me.

As it happens, with the last Democrat President, I, as an American, was dragged by Bill Clinton into the muck and mire of his decadent indulgences when he spat on the honor of his office and molested a young woman his daughters age. And now, once again, I’m slathered with the crass, base, and putrid lowliness of Obama’s usage of a word that I find not only disparaging to my fellow black Americans, but a word that is, well, just downright ugly.

Since the invention of the radio, over the past decades closing in on a century, I don’t think that word has ever been officially uttered by anyone in high office.

Or has it???

Yes, let us remember former KKK member and Senator, Robert Byrd. He used the N-word. Now let me see, what was his party affiliation . . . hold on, wait a minute, it’s coming to me . . . ahhh yes, now I remember. He was a Democrat.

Funny, isn’t it, how all things racist seem to hail from the Democrat Party; Slavery, fighting to keep it, Jim Crow laws, standing up against the Civil Rights Act of the sixties.

Democrat Senators and Congressmen of the south in the twenties, thirties, forties and fifties, even into the sixties, relished the word. They loved it. Used it quite often. Alabama governor George Wallace, Vice President to JFK Lyndon Johnson, and others. I think Johnson had the decency to keep the usage hidden, for the most part.

I’m sorry Barack, I guess you’re not the first in high office to use the N-word before the entire world. But fear not, Mr. President. You have the honored distinction of being the first sitting President to publicly give we, the American People, that sweet gift of foul racist language from the White House.

Frederick Douglas, the 19th century black abolitionist and Republican, and that other 20th century black Republican, Martin Luther King, must be looking down upon us from heaven, cheering as they hear that wonderful word ring out from the President’s mouth.

There you have it. The last Democrat President demeans the country with actions, and the current Democrat President demeans the country with verbiage.

You know the really sad and tragic thing about such stains on the Presidency as those given to us by Clinton and Obama?

They are forever etched into the foundation of American history. They can’t be erased, they can’t be retracted or revised, our nation can never, ever be washed clean of their soiling the nation with their putrescence.

Those stains will be with us forever!

I wonder if Bill Clinton and Barack Obama thought about that before they sprayed the Office of The People with their lubricious and despicable conduct.

I doubt it.
